I am happy to report that 2012 New Year's  decluttering resolution is still strong! When my husband told me he was taking my birthday off and asked how I wanted to spend the day, I surprised him and myself by wanting to clean the garage. We actually had a very fun time. Between birthday and business phone calls we managed to get half the garage clean enough that you can see the floor.Baskets and bikes  were hung from the rafter and we rid ourselves of  textbooks, tons of old paint cans ( they were sent to a proper disposal) and anything that we have not used in the last 10 years. We filled  4 boxes of 'giveaways" (the VETS are coming today)  and  treated our selves to dinner at a new Thai restaurant. Now I have to figure out how to get Bruce to stay home to do the closets.
